Peikko renews its global ERP system with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in cooperation with eCraft

Peikko Group will renew its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) operating system during 2020-2022. The ERP project is the biggest individual investment project in the coming years for the company. Peikko is looking to operate its over thirty sales and manufacturing units located around the world with the new system by 2022, with the first implementation phase finished during 2020.

Peikko’s digitalization partner for this project is eCraft, an awarded Microsoft Dynamics 365 provider with in-depth industry knowledge on manufacturing.

The Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution will be used to secure Peikko’s operations for the future. The goals of implementing the new solution are to secure the long-term operating system functionality, to improve interoperability between ERP and other systems, and to increase productivity, particularly in manufacturing and logistics. The new system will also open an avenue for the company’s future development.

To ensure industry specifications and faster delivery, the project will be delivered using eCraft Dynamics 365 Template for Manufacturing. Emphasis will also be placed on user experience and usability of the new system.

“A new ERP solution provides a single and versatile system for all our global functions. A modern and well-implemented ERP system will not only provide tools to increase productivity, but also offer our customers new and tangible benefits,” says Topi Paananen, CEO of Peikko Group Corporation.

“We are extremely happy to start this cooperation with Peikko. eCraft Dynamics 365 Template for Manufacturing is an industry-specific, faster delivery method fit for the needs of manufacturing and project organizations. The cloud-based Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations will serve as a modern business platform for Peikko fueling future growth and business development,” says Ville Hemmilä, CEO of eCraft.

“Microsoft is proud to deepen its relationship with Peikko. The ERP renewal on the Dynamics 365 platform is a great example of how an international manufacturer can build advanced intelligence into its operations to transform processes and empower employees to make better decisions and serve their customers even better,” says Jussi Tolvanen, Managing Director of Microsoft Finland.
